No Waste Cook Club - Workshop & Lunch

Join us on Saturday the 6th of October for a hands-on cooking workshop to help you reduce your kitchen waste and cut your carbon footprint, and grocery bill.

Over the course of the workshop, from 10am-1pm, we'll discuss preservation and pickling techniques, cooking 'stem-to-tip', and how to reinvent your leftovers, and cook a delicious, vegetarian lunch together.

At Open Table, we source the food for our workshops from OzHarvest who collect surplus food from supermarkets and prevent perfectly good food from going to landfill.

We are strong believers that the food on our table should be free and fair for all, and we are passionate about creating a food-waste free society, which we work towards by sharing surplus food in local neighbourhoods across Melbourne.

Please email claudia@open-table.org to book your spot.

Places are limited, please only RSVP if you know that you can attend.

Location: Fitzroy Community Food Centre, 125 Napier St, Fitzroy, VIC 3065
